From the West, take the A483 Welshpool road and you will come to a large roundabout – Mile End Roundabout with a Petrol Station and Tourist Information Centre. Go straight over onto the A5 Wrexham/Chester road.
A the next roundabout, turn right onto the A495 Whittington/Ellesmere/Whitchurch.
At Whittington, the road turns left at the T Junction then right beside the church still following the A495 Ellesmere/Whitchurch Road.
Two and a half miles from Whittington you will come up the hill into Welsh Frankton. On the left is Border Trailers and then a car sales pitch. Immediately after the car sales and just before the church, turn right. There is a signpost saying Lower Frankton actually on the corner of the turning.
Follow the road down from Welsh Frankton, after about ¾ mile you will see a house on the right (Bee Villa), follow the road round to the right beside Bee Villa (do not take the road that goes straight ahead).
After the hump-back bridge it is about 400yds on the right. It is the only house on that side that is actually right on the road, rather than set-back.
