From the North, head for Chester and take the Chester by-pass to Wrexham then the Wrexham by-pass following signs for Oswestry.
You will eventually come to Moreton Lodge/Pub/Garden Centre on the right hand side by a roundabout. Go straight over the roundabout towards Oswestry. Keep going for about a mile and you will come to a left turn signposted B5009 Gobowen. Follow the road to Whittington.
At Whittington, turn left beside the church onto the A495 Ellesmere/Whitchurch Road.
2 ½ miles from Whittington you will come up the hill into Welsh Frankton. On the left is Border Trailers and then a car sales pitch. Immediately after the car sales and just before the church, turn right. There is a signpost saying Lower Frankton actually on the corner of the turning.
Follow the road down from Welsh Frankton, after about ¾ mile you will see a house on the right (Bee Villa), follow the road round to the right beside Bee Villa (do not take the road that goes straight ahead).
After the Hump-back bridge it is about 400yds on the right. It is the only house on that side that is actually right on the road, rather than set-back.
